048 Five Ways to Make Your Blog Better Today!

November 10, 2011

Have you ever wondered why great bloggers are great at what they do?

Could you be missing something?

What makes people come back  again and again to read your blog, listen to your podcast, or follow you on Twitter?

What is it that makes them want to trust you or listen to your advice?

Listen to This Episode

Today in this episode, I will reveal some secrets to making your blog better. See? Even when I'm far away in the islands, nothing will stop my passion from sharing these valuable concepts with you. I have shared, not just one, but five ways to make your blog better.

blog-sign-inHere are some points I've shared in this podcast:

  • Five tips on making your blog better, with each tip explained.
  • Some application examples for each tip.
  • How Farnoosh Brock builds a great online community around her blog.

It doesn't matter where your blog is, who you are, or where you're from. Try to hold on to at least one point after listening to this episode, and implement that tip. Try to do each of these points one at a time. Doing them all at the same time may not do the trick for you.  Gradually work your way through and see how everything works out, not just for you, but for your readers, listeners, and followers (or however you may want to call it), as well.

It's not as hard or complicated as it seems, and you could only be missing something. Who knows? You could be up there with thousands of followers. The best part of it is, you know that you’re not mainly doing this for yourself, but for those people who find value in what you do and what you share with them.

  • I met you in Chicago at Cliff Ravenscraft and Pat Flynn’s meetup. I listened to your episode with Farnoosh and was very impressed. She presented at FINCon11. She was very good. You are right. She has a fantastic voice. Anyway, I like your podcast and will be listening in the future. Thanks for teaching. Keep up the good work.

    • Heyyyy David. It was GREAT meeting up with you guys out in Chicago. I really enjoyed that. Glad you were able to check out my podcast and even more glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for leaving a comment.

By the way, that’s not the same Farnoosh. I actually made the same mistake and that’s how I met her. I’m glad I made that mistake though, LOL.

Anyways, stay tuned for more awesome content 🙂

      All the best!

    Hi Leslie

This isn’t really connected to today’s podcast, but wanted to share this talk from TED:

It explores a future without Google and where “Facebook is the new Windows”.

Not sure I agree with all his predictions, but well worth a look!
