I LOVE my iphone. It's no secret. I have almost everything I need to run most aspects of my business in my pocket. The way we do business online has changed significantly.

So, I thought that it would be a good idea to share the iPhone apps I use to run my business. So here we go.

CBAPP Clickbank stats

If you are an affiliate marketer, you probably use clickbank. If so, then this app is a must have. You can store all of your clickbank accounts in the app and check your affiliate earnings and stats.

It's quicker than logging into clickbank because it stores your login credentials, and you can easily switch from 1 account to the next.

Evernote

I hardly use Word Processors anymore, unless I'm working on something that I need to format in a specific way for a specific purpose (i.e. class notes for my students). For the most part, I've converted to evernote. Why? Because I HATE losing files, and I've become a Backup FREAK!

With evernote, whatever you type (like this blog post) is automatically backed up on their servers. Not only that, but you can also access it anywhere (nearly every computer, phone or mobile device). It automatically syncs between all of your devices.

If I have a cool idea for a blog post (like this one), I can jot it down in my Evernote iPhone app and when I get to my computer, it's there waiting for me.

Wunderlist

To-do lists are an essential part of my day-to-day routine. Without them, I would not be able to accomplish all of the things I do online.

Before I go to bed, I try to decide on the FEW important things I want to accomplish the next day and jot them down in Wunderlist. I've tried MANY to-do list apps, and I love Wunderlist the most.

Why? For the same reason I love evernote. It automatically syncs with Wunderlist on my Laptop and PC (at work). So when I add it to my to do list on any of those devices, it's automatically on all of them, and it's backed up in the cloud.

Analytics App

  • Google Analytics

    Cost: $6.99

  • iTunes Link: Click Here

This is an iPhone app I use on a daily basis to keep track of how my traffic is looking. It basically brings Google analytics to the palm of your hands. For example, I just checked the app and it told me that in the last week, I've had 6,967 visits to my Biology Website and that they spent an average of 4 minutes and 8 seconds.

I use app regularly to see what my current daily stats are with just 1 click. It's much quicker than logging into my Google analytics account and adjusting the date to see where I stand right now.

Godaddy.com Mobile Domain Manager

I use godaddy to manage many of my domains. However, I use this app to check the availability of domain names when I have a cool idea.

Within a few seconds, I can tell if a domain name is available for purchase, and even purchase it on the spot. It has a bunch of other godaddy-related features, but I don't pay attention to those.

LastPass for Premium Customers

  • Cost: App is free, but premium membership is $1/month
  • iTunes Link: Click Here

The more I get into marketing, the more I see how much damage a hacker can do. Because of this, I've chosen to use the service LastPass. It generates passwords for you, encrypts them, and securely logs you into your different online accounts.

This significantly decreases the risk of someone getting access to one of my accounts and gives me peace of mind. With there mobile app, you have access to all of your accounts. However, you have to be a premium customer in order to use it.

I don't know about you, but I think that $1 a month is worth it for the additional security it brings

Line2

When I first started in online business, I gave out my personal cellphone number. Then, I started getting calls at 3 or 4 in the morning and realized that since I LOVE my sleep, I needed another option.

I've tried a few different ones but ended up with Line2, which gives you a second line for your Smartphone. It also gives me the ability to control when people can reach me. I have the $14.95/month plan, which gives me a toll free number, a virtual receptionist and a bunch of other cool business features.

It's the number I use for my podcast hotline. When someone leaves a question via voicemail, it emails it to me as an mp3 that I can use in my podcast. It also allows me to make FREE calls via wifi, and the call quality is pretty awesome.

Mint.com Personal Finance

If you are running an online business, you should be making some money (hopefully). If that's the case, it's convenient to be able to manage all of your accounts from one place.
This is exactly what Mint allows you to do, and with their iPhone app, you can check into all of your accounts on the go – very convenient.

Social Apps: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Skype

I've grouped these into one category because they all serve somewhat similar purposes and I wanted to make sure to give you the best value for this Top 10. I use these apps because online business is social.

It's all about the relationships you build with others, and how you connect with them. It's no secret that Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Skype have revolutionized the way we relate to others, whether they are blog readers, customers, joint venture partners or just random folk. These apps allow me to stay on top of these relationships on the go.

Pocket Casts

It's no secret – I LOVE podcasts. I can truly say that podcasts have changed my life. I learn so much from them. It's the reason why I do my podcast. Yes, podcasts are available in my iTunes app, but lets be honest – the iTunes app SUCKS.

Yeah, I said it, and that's coming from an Apple Fanboy. Here's the thing, I didn't know that the iTunes app SUCKED until I tried pocketcasts. I'm no longer tied to syncing my device to download episodes.

You can jump ahead or backwards by tapping the screen. It gives me the ability to find new podcasts, subscribe to them and download episodes on the spot. I can go on and on about why it's so awesome, but all I'm going to say is try them out and you'll see for yourself. No more iTunes for me, when it comes to podcasts.

What Apps do YOU use?

So those are apps that I use in my business, but I'm sure there are many more that I don't know about. Go ahead and let me know in the comments below.

Also, if you appreciated this post, please share it with your friends on Twitter, Facebook and Google+.

Take care and God Bless!
