So the last two days have been pretty interesting. As you probably know, I like to do interviews with people that play a major role in the Freebie Industry. So far I've done interviews with Fehzan from Macrobucks and Jon from V-Bux, two of the well established freebie sites in the industry. Well, I felt the need to do more. Not only that, I felt the need to take it to the next level. Instead of doing audio interviews, I wanted to do a video interview. But not just one of those skype to skype recordings. I wanted it to be in person and professionally done.

On Monday, that journey began. I got on the road at 2:30am and took a two and a half hour drive to Detroit, Michigan. Within 5 minutes from leaving home, two deer jumped out in the middle of the road. Fortunately, I slammed on the brakes just at the right time and avoided the deer by a hair.

Thirty minutes down the road, while on the highway the speed limit changed from 70mph to 55mph before I realized and I got pulled over by the cops. You know how “The Man” is always trying to hold us down. Nah, Im just playing. He had a legitimate reason. I was speeding. Fortunately, he understood my plight and did not give me a ticket for speeding. Unfortunately, I didn't have my current insurance card with me because it was just renewed and I forgot to switch them out. So he gave me a ticket for that.

Anyways, I finally reached to detroit, hopped on a plane to Denver, got something to eat and then jumped on a plane to San Jose, California, drove to Syracuse City to the Free Lunch Room Office and did an interview with Leo, the owner of The Free Lunch Room forum (FLR). We discussed a bunch of stuff about the history of FLR, what FLR is all about, the changes that are happening in the industry and what they are doing to make sure that FLR not only continues to do what it has been doing, but also surpass the level of traffic it has received in the past.

All in all it was a very good interview and I can't wait to share it with you, which should be sometime very soon. My trip there was a VERY short one. I've never been to California before, but always wanted to go. Unfortunately, I was only there for 4 hours, did the interview, drove to San Fransisco and jumped on another plane back to Denver and to Detroit. I arrived in Detroit around Midnight, picked up my luggage, got back on the road at 12:30am and drove all the way back home. I arrived home at 3am and went to bed.

That was the quickest trip I've ever made. I'm used to traveling, but that was ridiculous. It was fun, but intense. I spent the day yesterday editing the video. That is taking a lot of time because I used 2 cameras and did two takes, which is the most complex video I've made to this point. It isn't hard, but it is taking time. I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the week, which is very possible, since I have half of it finished already.

All in all, I think it was a great experience. Not only that, but I know that the information that we discussed is stuff the Freebie Traders need to hear and want to hear. There are huge plans in the workings that, if they go as planned, can be REALLY great for Freebie Traders and the Freebie Industry in general.

So keep checking back, because I'm sure you won't want to miss this one.
