A Sneak Peak at the New Mentoring Site Concept – ALMOST THERE!!

March 11, 2009

I've been working my butt off on the New Mentoring Site concept. My plan is to make the best package the industry has ever seen. I've made posts about this before and I think it is time for me to give you a sneak peak as to how this new website will be.

A big focus of the site will be providing a bunch of SIMPLE step by step video tutorials that cover every aspect of the Freebie Industry, from beginning to end. At this point, I have 11 of the videos made (with many more in my mind). I am on Spring break right now and will be working on a bunch more now that I have time. Ok, so I'm guessing that you are ready to see a sample. Ok here goes. This video outlines the process of getting referrals at freebie sites. Keep in mind that this is only one of many videos outlining the processes involved. Click The image below:

    Very nicely done!!

Your teaching skills are definitely shining through here and I can see why you have such an interest in mentoring as it is an obvious talent of yours.

As a noob to this industry, I learned something just from that excerpt.

    Thank you.

    Leslie,
I love the new mentoring site concept! As you know, I recently got one of your mentoring sites and I am very happy with it. The video was excellent; very detailed and thorough. The only suggestion I have is that it might be worthwhile to discuss the timing issue; not so much with MacroBucks, but with freebie sites in general. I know when I first began referring people to the freebie sites, I was amazed at the dramatic differences in approval and payout times among the different networks. Some payout within minutes and others take days (or even weeks in the case of one network I can think of). Most people starting out don’t have a bunch of money, and I have known some people who have gotten in to trouble because they couldn’t pay their referrals in a timely manner because they were counting on payments from the sites that simply took much longer than they expected. It just might be worth mentioning that all sites are not the same in terms of timeframe. Thanks for the great work, Leslie! I sincerely appreciate all you do.

    • Hi Don, thanks for your comment. I haven’t experienced working with any sites that don’t pay out on a timely basis because I am careful with the sites I use. However, there are some sites where you have to wait until you have a higher number of referrals and then you’d have to wait until you have the right number of referrals. Then there are just those sites that don’t pay out in a timely manner, and I just stay away from those. There will be a video on How to Choose Freebies sites, and I think that should take care of it.

Sounds like an awesome idea and the hosting charges even seem reasonable compared to others. My question. What will make your mentoring site so special compared to making my own site? Also, if everyone gets a mentoring site from you then how would there be any competition because all of the sites would look the same? Great idea though and I will continue to consider my options between starting my own site and getting one through you. 🙂

    • Hi Shannon, the main thing that makes the mentoring site special compared to making your own site is that you don’t have to make it, lol. I do it all for you. Also, I try to keep it updated with content as things change and as the system improves.

In terms of the issue of them all looking alike, that’s a temporary issue. Just wait till you see the new mentoring site concept. You will be able to choose from hundreds (or thousands) of templates that are freely available on the internet. Also, you can get your own template designed, upload it and then change the entire look of the site. You will be able to add pages, take pages away and so on. Also, the video training will be second to none. I’m working really hard on make it the best in the industry.

Hope that answers your question. In terms of what I would do if I were you – If you know how to design sites yourself and are comfortable with it, sure go ahead and build one. This is more for people who don’t know how (or don’t want to take the time). I built my own site because I enjoy doing it, so if it were me I would just build it myself (and that’s me being honest). But hey, if you need the help, I’m here. Take care!

    Hi Leslie,
I am waiting anxiously for the new site concepts, the templates, etc. I also want to congratulate you on the acquisition of your new trading forum. This brings up a question..now that you own your own forum how is this going to work with referring people who come to our sites since the site directs them to sign up at FLR? Since signing on for one of your sites I’ve done some agressive marketing and have to tell you that I’ve had dozens of signups, sent out welcome emails and followed up later on when there seemed to be no action on the registrants part. Out of dozens of signups I’ve had one trader complete a site and it stops there. Dozens and dozens of others simply signup on the site and not so much as complete one offer. I just don’t understand what more I could do as your site gives clear, concise directions, I let them know to contact me if they need help and still nothing. Do you think the freebie industry is really going to pick up again in the near future? I surely hope so.
But I also wanted to let you know that thanks to your blog I have gotten involved in several other affiliate & marketing programs so I’m keeping busy and earning some money.
Your opinion on the slowdown in the industry would be appreciated.
